Returning to Mandolin Mondays this week, we're joined by Mandolin Secrets man himself, Magnus Zetterlund, all the way from Sweden playing this Nordic folk tune ""Schottis från Härjedalen" on his Red Diamond Vintage F mandolin from 2023.

Magnus is a passionate mandolin instructor and the founder of Mandolin Secrets, an online platform that helps mandolinists take their playing to the next level. His YouTube channel has provided weekly inspiration and value since late 2017, and the tutorials have now more than 1,300,000 views.

Here's a word from Magnus about this video, "This is a Traditional Swedish dance tune called Schottis från Härjedalen. I´ve played it for many years and I find it really groovy. It’s in the D-dorian mode and I play the melody in both high and low octave. I’ve also included a little intro/outro riff for the arrangement."
